Every project begins with a conversation.
We take the time to understand how you live, work and use your space, alongside your aspirations, budget and timeframe. Equally important is understanding the site itself — its opportunities, constraints, orientation and relationship to its surroundings.
This shared understanding becomes the foundation for every decision that follows.
02 — Design with Purpose
Design is an iterative process of exploration and refinement.
Through sketches, diagrams, models and drawings, we test ideas and uncover opportunities that may not have been obvious at first. Throughout this process we balance creativity with practicality, ambition with economy, producing architecture that responds to place while remaining functional, buildable and enduring.
03 — Collaborate & Refine
Architecture is inherently collaborative.
As the design develops, we coordinate consultants, engage with authorities and work closely with builders and suppliers to ensure every part of the project contributes to a cohesive outcome.
Clear communication and careful coordination help transform ideas into well-resolved buildings.
04 — Deliver & Endure
Our involvement doesn't end when construction begins.
Throughout construction we administer the building contract, undertake regular site inspections and assist with decision making to ensure the project is realised as intended.
Even after completion, we remain involved through defects inspections and final contract administration, helping deliver a project that will continue to perform and adapt over time.

Stage 00 — Pre-Design Studies

Projects often begin with the need for early advice. We offer preliminary services at a fixed, accessible fee, allowing ideas to be tested before committing to the full architectural process.
This stage establishes the project brief, explores feasibility and budget, and provides the foundation for a detailed fee proposal.
Stage 01 — Concept Design

With the brief established, we begin exploring possibilities through sketches, diagrams, models and reference imagery.
This stage is about discovering the right response to the site and developing a clear architectural direction.
Stage 02 — Design Development

The preferred concept is refined through detailed drawings and modelling, while specialist consultants are brought into the process.
We recommend engaging a Quantity Surveyor during this stage to prepare an independent cost plan and ensure the project remains aligned with the budget.
Stage 03 — Approvals

Development Applications • Complying Development Certificates
Once the design has been developed, we prepare the documentation required for statutory approval.
This typically includes Development Applications, planning reports and the drawings necessary to clearly communicate the proposal.
Stage 04 — Documentation

Detailed documentation translates the design into a coordinated set of construction drawings suitable for pricing and construction.
This stage often includes collaboration with suppliers and fabricators to refine materials and construction details.
Stage 05 — Construction

During construction we administer the building contract, undertake regular site inspections and work closely with the builder to maintain quality and design intent.
Stage 06 — Post Completion

Our involvement continues beyond completion. We undertake defects inspections, manage rectification works and assist through the completion of the building contract.
